Simplistic high quality basics that never go out of style - no fuccboi layer or attention grabbing shit, girls always want to look the best in the end. I'd recommend a solid pair of boots, 2 quality pairs of jeans or pants (black or blue) a decent watch and some simple dress shirts. No middle of the mall shit/ no burlington coat factory brand names. Do your research online and find a shop with entry level high-qual affordable clothing. Uniqlo is a good start.

Where do you live?
I'm in Sweden, so I doubt I could be of much help. The only physical stores where I've seen them sold here are Gabucci and Hans Allde, but that was a couple seasons ago.
I know Johnston's of Elgin have had some vicuña products, as have Care of Carl.
Other than that, I don't really know. Ebay seems to have some stuff, though mostly vintage and either a) for women or, b) horribly outdated cuts.
Ok so no kidding, out of all the shit I own, the one thing I get most compliments on is some shitty long sleeve t-shirt from ASOS.
