Height has been a traditionally attractive trait for western men, so it makes sense why one would talk about it on a board dedicated to aesthetics, though it has recently taken major precedence over other traits. The proverbial dick measuring contest has also gotten really silly, there's a legit thread right now saying 6'5" is perfect height lol. Couple years ago it was 6'2". Little before that it was 6' even. That's kind of what happens when people, tall or short, don't know whether or not to take a meme seriously or not.
I work in formal wear. I measure people every day. It's very rare for people to be over 6'2" . I do see a lot of lying on drivers licenses though, it's become kind of routine for me to just subtract about 2 inches from what men say they are, sometimes even more.
