Got any pics of wrangler denim? Interested to see how they fit. Looked at levis, closest thing was blue stone and that's a bit light. Patrik and OL are good recs but a bit out of my price range atm.

Granted you buy the right size, their slim cut fits pretty much exactly like pic related. If youre used to wearing low rise jeans it will take a while to adjust to them. they're meant to fit snug a little below your belly button.
Have you checked for 501s? medium wash ones should be simple to find.

They're a straight leg, which some people might have a problem with. 501s have a pretty noticeable taper though. at least the ones i own. They're tighter near the ankle, but looser in the thighs. Pretty much the opposite of Wrangler. Once again though you have to make sure they fit snugly.

In fact i think the denim in the OP pic might be wrangler because of the felled outseam and broken twill looking fabric. But don't quote me on that.

I have 501s in medium stonewash (dad to the max) and they actually fit pretty well. Not "slim" but slimmer than you'd think for straight leg pants.
