Yeah the coffee table is pretty big and square, but I made it myself out of a solid slab of marble.

Yeah I've been considering putting some shelves up, could certainly use the book space.
I've also been drawing up plans to make a bench/lounger convertible thing to put at the end of my bed so I have a good vantage point for my TV and speakers. Kind of like this but cushioned and not so wide.
