Please tell me what frames you'd recommend instead then friend? because at this point square chunky frames make me think of emos or hipsters circa 2007-10, big glasses make me think of the 80s or John Major, slim rectangle glasses make me think of soccer moms or david tennant (who looks like an ageing lesbian), aviators either make you look like a sleaze ball or a hipster (or downright don't suit most people), wireframe glasses either make you look poor or like eminem or like you want to suck gosha rubchinskiy's dick, any other style that might exist is probably too niche to suit most people or would look trendy and try-hard.

Generally you want rounder frames for more angular faces and more angular frames for rounder faces to balance things out. The OP makes no sense, though people will wear stuff that COULD be fashionable that totally does not suit their face and piss people off like that. Same thing with the thick, black rimmed hipster glasses. The frames themselves can look good on the right person, the problem was everyone with every face type was wearing them even when it was an incredibly bad match up. That being said, neither is comparable to fedoras.

Do you have a picture of your face from the front? I can't really tell a lot about your facial features from that pic, but you have a pretty suitable upper half it seems (from cheek bones up) but your cheeks and jawline seems a bit rounded. As another guy said, shaving would help. Not trying to be a dick, but losing weight would also help to make your jawline and cheekbones more pronounced. More pronounced features = more wiggle room with more rounded lenses. Oh, and avoid haircuts in the future that would make your head appear more rounded (your current cut doesn't have that affect though).

This. Square/rectangular glasses have become so commonplace that it can even be hard to get anything else.
Going round is a good way to remedy this.
Although it is somewhat harder to pull (match your style) it can be a lot more unique and memorable to people around you.
And for people with bad eyesight, round glasses can hide the thickness of the lenses better than rectangular shapes, as the raw (non-cut) lenses are also round.
