having a core strong face genetically (bone structure, good skin, no faceweight, striking eyes) plus slight assymetries/ oddities is what makes an interesting face that pops in photos
also a tight, focused, but nonchalant base expression.
I'm often told that I have a unique aesthetic and that I could do (non-Chad) modeling by people online and sometimes irl.
However, then I'll take a picture of myself with my dslr head on and I'll look like shit, when I think that I look way better if photos taken with a different camera at distance.

its different for everyone. youre gonna wanna find a good angle for you, emphasize your good features etc. dont take pictures straight on, and try to take pictures where the camera is farther away from you. good lighting will do the bulk of the work, and editing will put the polish on it.
but on top of the photography aspect, you have to make sure you arent wearing saturated colors if your pale etc though all that shit doesnt have that big of an effect.
It's easy to look good in photos you take yourself, but how do you do it when it's being taken by other people? Look at the girl in OP's pic, she looks perfect in her passport photos, which are notoriously hard for anyone to look decent in.

the thing is perception is subjective.
There will be people that find you good looking and people that don't, heck there will even be people that find you ugly.
The thing is if you have a certain facial structure you're going to look beautiful to more people on average.
Self confidence and how you present yourself makes a HUGE difference too.
That's why people tend to tell people that cured depression or boosted their confindence stuff like "I never realized how beautiful you are".
Besides all of that there are objective standards too but these are obvious.
