Well that's pretty loaded question , isn't it?

White skin looks better for me , more sophisticated provided you have great skin

They dig anything foreign or exotic.
It's just supply and demand provided that you're already attractive.

This, people in general like something a bit new. So if you go to a new country, and are at least decent looking, you'll have something on everyone else simply by nature of not being from that country.

tanned skin is shit, makes you look like a pleb and ages you faster than any other controllable factor

i live in australia and everyone who has tanned regularly ends up aging terribly.. by their late 20's their skin is worse than the average 40 year old

Australia also, I don't know how people can just let their skin get damaged like that, might look good for a while, but it's not worth it in the long run. If you want a healthy tan without the side effects, I'd suggest people look into beta carotene, there were some links on it from the skin general, basically you get a healthy tan eating foods high in beta carotene.

Tried it for awhile and noticed subtle changes, nothing big though, takes awhile to show, got lazy and neglected my diet due to environmental factors, but starting it back up again.

There are plenty of links about it online that go more in depth about it, well worth the read, in my opinion.
