Currently using this meme, but need something with a better hold. It's windy as fuck outside and my hair goes all over the place. What is a good alternative that has a better hold and leaves a matte finish?

Was thinking about it. I have good experience with Baxter products. How's the shine with the clay?

Schwarzkopf Taft Carbon Force. No shine and holds well. 4 euros for this one, meme free.

Hanz de Fuko Quicksand is like Claymation but a stronger hold and even more matte. Might be worth trying that and cocktailing it with a fiber or wax to get a more even application and a slight, healthy looking shine. I use Quicksand and American Crew Fiber in a 1:1 mixture and even if it gets fucked up it's easy to restyle.
>>
>>10907823
Damn nigga, how much shit do you put in your hair?
>>
>>10907792
I'm anti-skub though.
>>
>>10907832
Not much, maybe about a pea size of each. Quicksand is the strongest non crunchy or shiny hold I've used.
>>
>>10907823
What's good and cheap? And matte?

I was thinking about using a very little of Murray's pomade
>>
>>10907874
Murray is terrible standalone. You need a bottle of shampoo to get it out of your hair. It might be okay if you cocktail it and only use a little. The hold is okay and it's dirt cheap
>>
>>10907661
OH SHIT

>Semi-matt finish

I hair is already oily so I don't need no more shine from a product
>>
>>10907787
This one has no hold at all.
>>
>>10908254
Enough for me
>>10908159
Weird, it's just matte on mine

Does this stuff damage hair at all? My hair is always looking for an excuse to look unhealthy.

My hair is a little thin up top/in front. Will this stuff help it look more voluminous? Without anything in it it either lays down flat or turns into some weird frizzy afro.

Pic is my hair on a good day, which are very rare.

Anyone use argan oil to style with? My hair is dry and I've been reading its a good fix
>>
>>10908425
Almond oil is nice too for your hair, skin, food, whatever the fuck you want. It's usually used for babies so it's not harmful for anything
>>
>>10908395
Anyone?
>>

>>10908425
I use argan oil. It gives hair a more healthy look and makes your hair easier to work with. Just use 3-4 drops in damp hair. It acts as a heat protectant too.

To give more volume also blow dry against the direction.

>>10908383
Nah it doesn't damage hair at all.
>>
>>10907646

When you guys apply product how do you get past the feeling like your sticky hands are literally tearing your hairs out? I fucking hate that feeling and I don't want to drop $20 on HdF shit if it's super sticky.

Yes, my forehead is massive. Probability of me balding in my late 20s is high. I baby my hair.

>do you get past the feeling like your sticky hands are literally tearing your hairs out?
no because i don't have thin hair

people with thin hair should never use products with high hold written on them.
>>
>>10910153
That happens with matte products with strong hold. Be sure that you spred it evenly between palms and work your way up from the roots. Try to put more while your hair is damp.

Heat or no heat? How do I avoid my hair getting frizzy?
>>
>>10910165
Thin hair means you need stronger hold, unfortunately.
>>
>>10908395
>>10909065
Hahahah I love how fucking desperate and insecure you are
>>
>>10911064
I don't understand how insecurity is a bad thing. How else am I supposed to improve?
