I like them, but dessert Malis are the superior choice.
The CDBs are just too played, they were the rage in 2011-2012 and they are now associated with hipster culture. Sad because they are a staple of fashion. They will come back in the future and be universal la fashionable again.

chukka generally looks like shit. ive never seen a chukka fits that wouldnt be way better if its just normal boots or derbies/low cut sneakers

I don't really get the hate. Clarks have been my go-to shoe in warm weather for years because I think boots work best for most of my outfits and DBs are super comfy with the right socks.
