I will always hate these shoes. No matter how they're styled they will remind me of chubby hs theater kids and deviantart edits. I keep seeing that they're making a "comeback" and frankly they are beyond redemption

Shoes" because all the cartoon characters would wear them. Probably because they're easy to draw.

I think it's an element of nostalgia, loved 'em as a kid. As a result I've got really flat feet which means they fit me well and once the canvas is broken in, they're pretty fucking comfy.
