Do I need to get rid of my moustache to have the right look?

Do I need to get rid of my moustache to have the right look? I already got the haircut with it short on the sides and long on top, are mustaches a no go?

Also to get the proper look don't you use a tad of hair paste and run it through the front and kind of like rough it up so its pushed back?

Is there ever any combing involved?
