Hip hop has evolved into different sub-genres, there's still rappers who spit the same hip-hop as before but also others such as Migos who have experimented and created new sounds, which due to everyone jumping onto everyone else, their sound has been saturated.
This is just drill music, where the main topic is killing other niggas and repping your block. It's not mainstream so it's just guys doing it at eachothers house hence the quality
