I'm Catholic and think it's fine. No point in being all hurr durr it's not allowed. Plenty of saints are depicted wearing rosaries. It's sacramental though, and if you aren't Catholic then you look like a bit of an idiot. It's not a piece of jewellery.

I am atheist and I find rosaries (as well as mālā) aesthetically pleasant
Would probably wear the latter if I could be bothered to buy them
