I found a great levi's jacket in Amsterdam last week, I think I'm gonna put a shitton of patches on the back
>all these edgy pins and patches
>>10872390
thought about it more than once. Any info on making patches yourself or perhaps producing them somehwere?
>>10872681
look up Brothers Digital Image Embroidery Machines
they're about $300
you upload any image, and it'll sew it THICK onto your iron-on material, then you cut it out

These are awesome, but simply not worth the investment for the average /fa/ggot
i do enjoy patches

Get those regular size printer sheet (that are white stickers), print whatever on it, use pic related knife to get rid of the white/black colors depending on what you're aiming for. Take it off the sticky paper sheet and put it on a piece of fabric (usually go for either black or white). Use acrylic to paint on it (maybe 2-3 times, let it dry and get rid of the sticker, although the sticker can get stucked to the fabric so do it slowly)

it should look something like this before applying the paint.Try not using or drawing something with too many details.

I just got a set of needles (didn't know which one to get so that set has a variety) and some thread
And the patches
>>10872705
you could also sell patches on the side that you design up if they're nice enough, even just to friends and shit, just a though
>>10872302
cool. id on jean jacket one?
>>10874406
I had a button machine for five years
Just sold it to a friend for 40 bucks, which, if you know the value, is practically giving away the thing
Reason: I never used it after starting to make money cuz it was too fucking time consuming and customers outside of my circle of friends didn't know how much bullshit went into it all
I imagine the same thing would happen with an embroidery business
>>10874406
I would but I don't have the money to invest into buying the machine let alone getting an online storefront and promoting it

Would patches on a canvas backpack work?
And where to get some good patches with subtle socialist message? Someone share resources pls, completely new to patches
Do these actually look good on some people?
Srs question because i've never seen someone who wasn't a total fucking loser wear patches.
saw this one a few months ago on a patch thread; just picked it up
I might seam rip a supreme 5 panel and sew this on for shits
>>10876762
Why not "subpar"
>>10876762
Why not just get some plain 5 panel and sew it on
found some really cool ones i like
what kind of backpack/ jacket do these things look good on anyway? apparently hats are good for it?
