Chelseas are a great all-round shoe as they're versatile enough to be dressed up or down. I wear a clean, minimalist pair of leather Chelseas in winter when I go to work and a suede pair on the cooler days in summer.

This. Being skinny definitely helps as they're boots better paired with skinny jeans than slim or straights.
they´re sharp and very versatile, the staple of a basic wardrobe, they fit into almost every style, from post punk to minimalist modern fits

I bought my first pair boots with leather soles. Any tips on how to make them last longer and maintain them? I guess I'll have to wear my other boots with rubber sole when the weather is shit as I'm not really a fan of galoshes either.
