Nixon watches are crap quality. Look for a Seiko, new or used, they've been made in every style known to man. Used Seiko + a new band you like is gonna be $50 and will probably still outlast that Nixon. Timex is OK if you don't mind the loud ticking. If you go Timex - basic watches only (avoid their chronos) and matte cases only. Their shiny cases look terrible.
