Sup /fa/?

What are the best fits/brands/type of clothes for tall and skinny people?

90% of my wardrobe is basically crew neck sweaters/knits over a tshirt with some jeans.

So far I've found Acne Ace jeans in a 34 leg to be the best fitting for my height (6'4 160lbs). I have to buy sweaters and knits in larger sizes for the length in the body/arms, Norse Projects, Our Legacy and Raf seem to be the best fitting.

I'm stuck when it comes to casual shirts as I'm limited to the arm length, with sweaters it's less of a problem as I like them baggier.

Outerwear isn't so much of a problem as most costs have extra fabric to lengthen the sleeves.

Let's use this thread to compile a resource of useful brands/tips/fits for tall folk.

Anything similar in the UK?

I can never find casual shirts. It's slightly easier with formal shirts as you can often order them with additional length.

Well, I'm 6'7, ottermode. Here's the brands that fit me well:

Margiela
Givenchy
KvA
Burberry
Belstaff
Jil Sander
AMI
Versace
Y-3 (i.e. Adidas)
Dirk Bikkembergs
Boss
7forallmankind

The following don't fit me because they're twink tier:

APC
Acne Studio
Balenciaga
Just Cavalli
Gosha Rubchinskiy

And these don't fit me because they're fat tier:

Dolce&Gabbana

I'd say as a tall guy it's smart to stick with designers from tall countries, Germany, Belgium, France and England. Too bad Germany is a wasteland when it comes to fashion.

Actually I'm pretty thin, you can see my ribs and stuff. I think I should weigh over 200 with some muscle.

My point was that guy didn't know what he was talking about. Not triggered just shedding some light.

Cheers, seems they deliver to the UK but it seems loads more expensive than US pricing. £75 for a tall fitting shirt and that's without delivery.

It's the same price in dollars on the US site, which at $75 works out at £50. Why do companies do this? Do they not realise the pound is worth more than the dollar when they convert their currencies...

I'm 6'5" and 140 pounds.

Trying to bulk up but it is hard as fuck.
>>
Try buying from Scandinavian brands as they generally fit great for tall/thin people.

Acne, Our Legacy, Nudie, Cheap Monday, Norse Projects etc.
>>
>>10782803
There was an article about this in the Daily Mail (yes I know) explaining why they charge more in the UK.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2515092/J-Crew-CEO-Mickey-Drexlers-bizarre-defense-UK-price.html

Are the shirts good quality? Is it worth me paying £75 for an oxford shirt just for the extra length or is there anywhere else I can cop fashionable tall shirts in the UK.
>>
WE (a shop to be found in the netherlands at least) does great basic shirts
>>
I'm not super tall, 6'2" but I am pretty thin. Not entirely on topic but could anyone advise good places to buy tapered sweatpants/jogger-type things with a 34" inside leg? I wanted to cop some comfy uniqlo ones in the sale but they're all too short.

it depends on how disproportional you are (length of legs to length of rest of body). I'm really disproportional so drapey, long tops make me look more balanced. I'm 6'2.

Yes.

Long coats make you look shorter - which is no problem for a tall guy.
Short coats make you look taller - which is why manlets should wear them, and tall guys should avoid.

I'm 191cm / 73kg (6'3 / 140)

I have an extremely slim waist and rather broad shoulders with long arms.

It's absolutely impossible to find any upper body clothing that fits me perfectly. I always have to make some compromise, usually having a bit flappy fabric at the waist area. It's better than short sleeves.

I've been 6'4" and 140.

it was when I had mono, and I felt like shit all the time and couldn't eat anything besides soup.

It wasn't pleasant, but it certainly was /fa/.

Much happier being 6'4" 165.
>>
i'm 6'5" and 165 pounds. i recently found that most new zealand/australian brands have extremely long shirts.

sites like hallensteins, culturekings, ascolour, etc. all the shirts are several inches longer than the typical larges in america. the brands to avoid are the eurocuck brands because they're short so they make short clothes. h&m and zara is basically toddler sized.
>>
>>10781585

Banana Republic makes tall sizes of pretty much all their clothes, but only available online.

6'9" master-race reporting in.

tfa on reddit has some good sites for us tallies in their sidebar. Im from Australia so ill post the places I shop.

Indochino does good prices on tailored dress/casual shirts, suits, pants. worth checking out.

I used to use just jeans since they did unhemmed 36" inseams but they are pretty trash. Levis goes to 34" though and are pretty sweet.

Arvust at general pants has some pretty good feeling tall tees that dont look like those tall tees all them swag-fags wear.

Also since you guys are pretty tall im going to assume you have big feet. Check out RM Williams and Dayton boots. These are the only 2 brands I have been able to find that makes a nice dress boot in a us14+ (about AUD$500 a pair though)
