Dutchfags,
Why is our fashion retail industry so fucking shit? It's god damn impossible to find most decent brands.
I was listening to the top 2000 and there were these ads for Piet Zoomers which should specialise in designer brands, so I decide to check it out and all they carry is total horse shit like fucking jack and jones, armani, g-star and van gils.
Where the hell do you find decent stores nowadays? I'm talking stores a la Frans Boone & Tenue de Nîmes.
Bijenkorf, hunting ensemble
Don't rely on Dutch shops/sites, order online. Shipping rates are not steep at all and a site like Mr. Porter even offers free returns. I suppose if you'd want to try stuff on Bijenkorf has some Acne, AMI, Alexander McQueen, Sandro, Filippa K and some more I can't think of right now but it's very limited. There are a couple of shops in Amsterdam that stock a limited amount of Our Legacy, Norse Projects, Rick Owens, Saint Laurent Paris, Patrick Ervell and Neil Barrett. Then you've got P.C. Hooft too if you're looking for Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Gucci etc.
But overall online is the best and likely cheapest option too.

Most online webstores ship to NL/BE nowadays. Just from the top of my head: Farfetch, A.P.C., Mr. Porter, YSL, ...
All of those ship to NL, you can also just drive to Antwerp if you want to try stuff on first.
I would love better stores in Amsterdam. I like checking out stores, but since most stores are crap I just order everything online.

This, some shopkeepers are pretentious as fuck, but most of them are pretty chill.

Bijenkorf, P.C. Hooft, (Azurro 4) genoeg plekken G.

Azurro 4 sucks balls. Employees are huge fuccbois but think they're hot shit eventhough they don't know shit about the clothes they stock. They also follow you around, even when clearly wearing full designer fits (indicating I'm not a fuck thief).
Hello dutch people!
I move to netherlands in few days
What are the trends there?
Do you know nice shops in Amsterdam , utrecht or eindhoven with quality stuff and affordable prices?
Bedankt ;
>>10765270
most of the stores mentioned here are in amsterdam.
Trends aren't really anything special. Streetwear is big, lots of fuck ass niggas walking around in shitty h&m stuff. Just regular 2015 shit.

>affordable prices
There's a little thriftshop called Zipper in the Amsterdam city centre
- Huidenstraat 7
- Nieuwe Hoogstraat 8, the famed comic book shop Lambiek is not far from there; Koningsstraat 27

Any places for women's fashion that are not Zara? I've just started getting into the whole effay thing and I never know where to look, as someone who'd like to avoid shopping online.

Any style in particular that interests you at this point?
>>10766049
I like minimalistic, feminine stuff. For colours, I seem to be heavily gravitating towards greys, whites and blacks. I love wool and leather.
I go shopping in Amsterdam at the start of the season so I'm hoping to have some decent stores to check out by then.

COS is great for that. Affordable too and quality is better than H&M, Zara etc.

I love COS, I wasn't aware they had a store in A'dam. Great, thanks for letting me know.
