If you know how to handle a sewing machine and how to sew clothes, you could do it.
Its pretty easy, practice on an old pair of pants first.

Used to be a huge crustpunk fgt, the few pieces of clothing i owned i sew myself. Best way to learn is just doing it and seeing if it looks shit afterwards, can take awhile before you enjoy your own shit
Yes I do this to a lot of mein clotz.
Das ist easy. I only taper from the outside hem cuz it's usually a simple hem as compared to the folded-in double-locked inseam hem. Then you shorten (hem) after tapering, iron two lines, trim and fold the trimmed raw edge inside, then sew it up.
Saves lotta munnay, fun and easy hobby, no reason not to do it.
Just go to literally any asian owned dry cleaners. Its second nature to them.

It's quite easy.
Take measurements of your calves, inseam, thigh and leg opening. Takes twenty-thirty minutes best case.
