For info. If anyone is thinking about copping the stretch boot/adisock/tech runner boot, they are very TTS, but are supposed to fit very snug - you really dont want them loose and moving about in them. Also if you have a high arched foot its gonna show quite alot on the outside.

Review wise, they're on a par build wise with my tech runners I would say, all the stiching is good and there isnt an excess of glue marks areound the soles, the suede feels very soft but is incredibly thin.

The soles do crease with the first wear, like a marshmallow. They're still very sturdy though - a bit squishier than tech runners but still very durable.

They also feed amazing when you put them on.

Imagine a suede condom, but on your leg, yaknow.

I just received mine. I would say they actually fit a half size large. I'm definitely a 10.5 which is what I got and my foot shifts around slightly. The sock part is looser on these than the mainline Ramones sock. I gotta recommend sizing down a half size or going TTS at best.
I do have high arches which creates a weird area of extra leather around the back side of my ankle and Achilles.

I'll agree on build quality. On par with all the tech runners I've had (I've had almost every version now). The suede is very nice. The edge of the leather does show a bit but I'm not mad at it. No glue stains, and the two shoes look identical in sole curvature which is a problem I have seen with this vicious sole shape occasionally.

They do feel amazing! A bit one dimensional of a look, though I did throw them OVER jeans which I thought would look dumb but is surprisingly less noticeable than anticipated. I'm excited to try out fits with them, though the runway styling is clearly optimal.

Check out my snap story for unboxing/fit
>>
>>10746844
Interesting, i'm a 42 and these fit slap bang perfect as a UK8/EU42. At the end of the day foot shape is everything when it comes to sizing, one of us has dodgy feet ;)

>>10746872

Yeah my mistake is that they fit true to the UK size, but half size big to the US size. I always hate how dumb the sizing is on these. It's like UK10/US10.5/EU44 2/3

So they fit true to size UK, half size big US, 2/3(lol) big EU.

Personally would prefer a blazer, I think. But the overcoat is pretty cool, what is it?

You also wear your pods hella low, are they around your hips? Works well for you ebcause you're tall af.

>>10746945

Yeah I wear them around my hips, a bit lower than I normally would because I have the leggings band just above them around my hips as well. Don't want the bands on top of each other for comforts sake.
I am tall enough to wear them like that fortunately. I can make them look less dramatic by wearing them at the waist, but they sit at my knee like that and it's not comfortable to walk in with the hem there. Plus, I like how dramatic they are. Definitely my go to bottoms, haven't worn my prisoners in months to be honest.

A Rick blazer, maybe Julius (but I slept on the ssense sale...) is my next big purchase. Have my eyes on a few.
This coat is Rick. It's the runway faun peacoat with the nylon back sash. Shirt is the long sleeve double layer from Sphinx. All Rick except the leggings.
I prefer longer tops with the pods. My Raf chesterfield is amazing with my tailored pods and back zips.

Good eye on the back zips, didn't notice them back there hah. Took them off in a rush to try the sock runners on (I ran home on my lunch break).

h lorenzo guy from last thread, should i email them right now to get an update? its been a few days and the last message i got was them asking me for an image of my ID for verification, which i did.
>>
>>10746984

I'm a little over 6'1, in these I'm a solid 6'2

>>10747053

I think it's fair to ask for an update on why it's taking so long for them to ship and if there's anything else you need to provide. I'm sure they will tell you something about needing to verify your purchase because having separate billing and shipping addresses is suspicious with expensive purchases and totally reasonable of a request on their end. They will probably also say something about holidays, however I don't imagine they are THAT busy, they don't have any crazy sales and they should be prepared for the rush. It's important that they know you are a concerned so that they know how they could be better in the future (assuming they even give a shit, which, in my experience with H Lorenzo, they probably don't)

All idiotic insults aside, this is true
If you're looking to adopt an expensive style and don't want to spring for all the cheaper derivative brands, you'll build up a wardrobe super slow and you might not even end up liking the look as much as you thought

If you can't afford to switch up expensive styles all the time make sure you know what you like before you start spending.

>>
>>10751403

I would say they are similar to geos. Ramones in my opinion fit TTS, in some cases I can take half sizes.
>>
>>10751453
Okay cool. There's a pair a half size between my ramones size and geo size. I'm thinking it might work...

no man, no
white laces on what look like combats does not work.
shorts stand out, obviously, but not in a way that i'd want them too.
a laceswap and some restyling would be beneficial, i'd really prefer some grey, non-cargo rick shorts here at least.

the slim shaft requires them to be worn with pods/very slim, or extremely tapered jeans tucked in, the toe box is also a lot less noticeable on feet.

Merry Christmas

I don't own any Rick, but where do you wear Rick fits? I'm a student and I can't think of any time in my life that would really be appropriate.

Also, does he have anything that normies would like?
>>
>>10752737
>where do you wear Rick fits
What kind of a fucking question even is this
Like any fucking day at any situation really, throw the shit on and go about your day as usual
>anything that normies would like
You probably shouldn't buy rick if you just want people to admire your clothes or think more highly of you

I took a second, longer look at this.
I think the sweater and shorts look fine, but agree with >>10752349 , the leggings aren't doing anything for the fit and I still think the combats with white laces look a bit strange
>>
>>10751824
All people with this bodyshape in ruck or similar remind me of dj khaled for some reason
>>
>>10753061
Are they combats? Kind of looks like Ramones skytops with extra eyelets punched in up top, which is not a bad idea. I don't really mind the white laces either.

merry xmas rog!

I slept on the black suede creepers yesterday, but managed to cop regular leather ones today. Description says "soft leather"...not sure what that means, possibly "wrinklefest"? Hope they fit and the toebox doesn't look too heinous!
>>
>>10746913
Congrats on owning the worst socks
>>
>>10753344
Ouch. That's really gonna hurt when he reads it.

I guess you're right in that the Sock Sneakers are better, but the Vicious Socks are pretty fucking rad too.
>>
>>10753344
It's probably safe to own the "worst socks" when you also own a grip of other Rick footwear. Not as if that's his only piece.
>>
I've got a dude trying to buy one of my pieces for $900 on grailed but he has two prepaid $500 visas attached to his PayPal - so he wants to send me half the cost as a PayPal transaction and the other half as an actual purchase through grailed. Is there any way this is a scam? It seems like he's getting the short end of the stick as far as buyer protection but I'm worried there's something I'm missing.

Sorry, only slightly Rick related but I feel like y'all have good grailed experience.
>>
>>10753436
Maybe some kind of "chargeback" scam? It's a huge red flag anytime someone wants to pay outside of Grailed. If he can use one $500 prepaid card to pay you via Paypal on Grailed, why can't he use both?
>>
I went almost full Rick for Christmas and actually got one compliment and some questions about my leather jacket.

>i made it /rog/
>>
>>10753436
dont do it mate
>>
>>10753463
Well, PayPal won't let you use multiple cards - only one card and your PayPal balance. So I guess I could list it twice on grailed for half the price each time? I always thought the warning about paying outside was for buyers and not for sellers, but it could be a chargeback scam of some sort.

>>
>>10753484
If Paypal won't let you use 2 cards for 1 purchase, then that's an understandable reason to try and find a workaround.

Maybe list each boot separately, and don't ship until you get all the money through Paypal and Grailed, so all of it is done through the correct channels. Sounds safe to me but admittedly I havne't bought or sold on Grailed, so maybe get another opinion before proceeding.
>>
>>10753504
Unfortunately it's a hoodie

Listing one shoe at a time would be sick though. Might do that next time.
>>
>>10753490
Sounds a little desperate, especially in straight asking for your email. Wouldn't outright call it a scam tho. Is that the same guy saying he can have it all in one place by Sunday? Maybe just wait until then and don't sell it in the meantime to be nice.
>>
>>10753495

I'm in my house pants chilling now.
It wasn't a drapemaster legging and shorts fit. It was a pretty basic fit just with Rick items: Detroit jeans, mohair knit, stooges and Belstaff side-zip boots.
>>
>>10753519
Yeah, it's all one message conversation over the course of a couple days - Read from bottom to top. I did suggest the outside transaction myself, but would feel infinitely better with a single transaction.
>>
I've messaged to double check that he can't combine into one, otherwise I might just hold out on another buyer. I want to believe that he's just a silly man and not malicious, but it's a lot of money to wager on. Thanks for the help!

That's cool I just wanted to see the fit though

Thinking of copping these, but at the same time want to save up for cargos. Don't know what to do really.
>>
>>10753656
Cargos are much cooler and distinctive. Other than being a really nice material and having two stripes sewn into the ass, these are just regular fit sweatpants. So I guess it depends on how low-key you're trying to be - I'd nab the cargos myself.
>>
>>10749311
slightly slim, slightly long, lenthy cut arms, with very high narrow armholes. the arms are kind of angled; the shoulders are narrower on purpose to make the silhouette slimmer from my experience. if that makes any sense.

>>10752737
it's just clothing man. you can wear whatever you want whenever you're not required to follow a dress code or anything. I mean maybe you wouldn't wear a pillar skirt and hoofdunks casually... but I'm sure there's people deep enough in it that do

as far as normie stuff sneakerheads like his shoes, I get compliments on my dunks all the time from people wearing J's and shit.
>>
>>10752737
I'm also a student! I wear Rick to campus most days (when I'm feeling it. Other times I dress a little more "normal"). It's really easy to wear, I bike to school in pods and Geos with no problems.
>>
>>10753768
Yeah I think I'll cop those
I have kinda similar fitting old ass adidas snap pants like the sweats on the pic which I love, kinda wanted similar fit but something better quality and low key to wear outside just my home.
Guess I could aim for those after I get the cargos if I still feel like it.
>>

>>
>>10754162
44EUR isn't big, actually It's slightly less than average in EU, most places

Oh damn really? How big is "big"? Haven't directly measured mine but it's like 3'x2' or something if I had to estimate.

Hmm I thought there were two sizes - the "big" one large enough to carry a shoe box, and the "small" one that you usually see people use as tote bags?

those are really decent prices. usually geos are 550-600 in great-new condish and so are ramones

I have one that my shoebox fits inside + some extra room. It makes a great tote bag though! I can carry my whole life in it if I want.
