I love the monster and it´s one of my favourite beater watches. But the movement cant compare with eta or swiss inhouse movements so you will have to cut the seiko some slack. Of thats all right with you go for it. Btw the bracelet is very good on the price range but i dont like the push pin business. Give a super engineer some thought with screwed in links (see picture).

You can't stretch your budget to like $300 for a SARB? I think it's a watch you can dress up or down really easily so it should work well as your only watch and it's a great high quality watch. Or there's also a quartz Seiko which is a lot cheaper and looks similar, I forget what the model name is but it says SAPPHIRE on the dial.

It's a bit heavy and thick but that's to be expected and that's what I was looking for. The metal of the bezel looks a little cheap up close but at arms length it looks fucking great.
