Very good purchase, comrade.
Very Catcher in the Rye-y.
Might be just me, but I've never seen someone wearing a hat like that and not thought "Jeez mane it ain't that cool."
imo you'll look like a tool wearing one

nice try

Good luck dressing like an edgy communist fuck.

I'm actually natsoc.
>>10736293
Because that's so much better...
I have a wool one and I get compliments when I wear it. I have a beard though so that may help the look. I live in CO in le mountain main maymay zone.

obvs. check out /pol/
I have one that I wear with a balaclava - mostly because I don't want to get it full of sweat, and partly because I have a baby face.
I like it, it's warm as fuck. And it even protects your face against cold winds if you lace it up.

how the fuck is wearing a comfy hat communist?
Some inspo. I would also look only for real fur, since fake one looks like ass.
People call it "russian fedora" but you gotta know for yourself if it suits you or not.
I think ushanka + sunglasses looks great on women.
It gets to a point in the winter where I really don't give a fuck, because it's that cold.
You bet your ass, come January, I'll button that shit up under my chin like the retarded kid from a Christmas Story and look like a flaming jackass, but I'll be warm.
>>10736258
It's not the same kind of hat at all.
>>10736258
That's what you mean. It's a hunting hat. The one in OP is a trapper hat.
is this Russia thread?

unless it's -15°C or snowy and in the mountains there's no real chance of using it
I have a soviet era Ushanka I found for cheap in a thrift store in Barcelona, haven't used it since buying it because temperature never drops below -2 here

I'm from Ireland
>>10736235
I wear one but only in two situations when I go mountain climbing in the winter or at work since I work on the flightline
>>10736678
where do you climb mountains?
Ushankas were effay in the 80's. this is the 2010's get historically accurate or get out.
I have a DDR marine ushanka from the 80's (I think, it was stuffed with paper from '86).
I wear it (without the emblem) during the snowiest and coldest few weeks of the year (Sweden). Very nice to have a thick and somewhat comfortable hat for the cold winter.
