The guy found his creativity was flowing better when he was in character. He tried to create a character hat would be popular in South Africa and someone found the video a few months later and put it on an American tv show. They got a deal from that and then they told the label to fuck off. Now they are mostly touring and doing shit they want to do. I have worked with the dude and he does not take directions from no one and is in character most of the time.
