This is true but only if you have money and career to distinguish you. If you're a student or a nobody you'll just look like a tool if you drink scotch, and rightfully so. If that's the case drink cheap but good bourbon, like Evan Williams or something. Despite the marketing campaigns, Jameson has neither the good flavor of bourbon nor the class of scotch.
