im not any of those people, but this is a good reminder that people just plain HATE cops. This is something you're going to have to deal with everyday of your new job.
there are so many cops that are dicks, you assume they all are. it's weirdly parallel to how cops think anybody low-income (read: black) is a criminal
personally i've had good and bad interactions with police. when they're good, they're decent, but when they're bad, it can ruin your week.

Most people join the force because they love their country and want to protect their fellow citizens. Once they're there, it's their responsibility to enforce the law, even if they disagree with it. The fraction of crooked cops is tiny, and it is absurd to treat them all with distrust.
