I sorta look like the dude in the OP, but I work with a tall skinny twink who could rock long hair and a beard. I think the problem isn't that long hair and beards only look good on masculine dudes, but that the average age of this board has gone down so far that most posters can't grow anything, so beards are right out. Now, sure, there's cultural push back, but I barely even see the fade, beard, barbershop, bartender, tattoo artist guys anymore. Maybe most of /fa/ lives in Iowa.
