Ohh nooo because of one other sudden copy cat piece they've gone too far now, this is just the tipping point. Until now these geniuses have been making billions off scrubs by copying shit and giving it to the masses through shit labour but oh noooo now they've gone to far, this instance is the tip of the iceberg
They haven't gone too far enough.

Truly awful styling. Do people think this looks good? What a ridiculous silhouette.

have you considered that the point of styling garments for photos in an online retail space isn't necessarily to make the best possible looking outfit, but rather to move products?
now, you might say "but anon, having the best possible outfit styling will help move the product!!!" and in some sense you're right, which is why styling exists at all as a thing. however, you're not considering the cross-exposure of other garments.
if a model is wearing a ridiculous outfit like in OPs pic, it might not look like a great outfit, but it does make you take a second look at the garments he is wearing. which increases the likelihood that you'll go look at those garments' pages as well, which increases the likelihood that you'll buy even more garments, which is the ultimate goal of the entire website.
hm isn't setting out to be the best stylists in the industry, they just want money. and making money isn't always aesthetically intuitive. if it were, hm wouldn't even exist in the first place.

YEEZY X JEDI

what's even remotely jedi about this? if anything it looks like an acne studios ripoff, which is about as far away from jedi-gear as one can get.
>but muh tan colors
so if i show you a green t-shirt and a green toyota camry, they'll look like identical items, right?
