Ice cream cones or stripes? I'm more immediately attracted to the stripes because they're not trying to do the obnoxious 50's housewife vintage thing. But then, bright orange is a hard color to pull off, and I think my coloring suits the light pink background better. What do you guys think? Are the cones subtle enough that they don't ruin the dress?

like the cones. from a distance it doesn't read twee or "listens to rockabilly, roller derby participant." can't even tell they're cones from the pic, even after knowing what they are. look like flowers.
the striped dress may work in another color. think it looks pretty irredeemable in orange.

well, I can only see it from a distance so that's the only scenario in which I can judge it. But knowing they're ice cream cones doesn't ruin the pattern for me. dooo it, I really don't think it the striped one looks good

you wanted opinions, you got opinions. if you're gravitating towards the striped dress, wear the striped dress. it's ugly and bland and no one will care about it. the ice cream dress reveals itself up close. it's interesting up close. by extension, you will be more interesting for having chosen it. take a fucking chance for once in your life.
