this guys on point, anything with a collar is good
>>
Drive by a club and dress just a little bit more formally than the people you see in line, but essentially the same
>>
Wear something simple basic but clean.

Why would you need a collar to go clubbing.

My rule of thumb for most clothing is that it needs to be (1) dark, (2) moderately dressy but (3) well-fitted, and (4) cheap. Don't roll into a club wearing a suit or some designer clothing, and definitely don't roll around in AF1s and a goddamn baggy shirt (they won't even let you in).

For a shirt: some brands sell dark colored dress shirts that are made of lightweight fabric or that contain a small amount of lycra (/spandex). These work well because they are cheap, can be tailored to fit well, and they can (generally) take a beating. Girls also tend to like them because their bar for that sort of thing is somewhere near the floor. T-shirts tend to look too informal, though henleys are appropriate alternatives (in my opinion, depends - henleys tend to look good on more muscular builds)

For pants: jeans are okay, but most people here love on their jeans too much to risk them being destroyed. Again, dark colors here are a good idea. Something slim fitting, reasonably lightweight, and movable - just not dress pants. I tend to avoid khakis and similar styles because (1) it feels too preppy for a club and (2) shit gets spilled on them too much anyway.

For shoes: no sneakers. I have a beat-around pair of pebblegrain Cole Haan lace-ups for this exact purpose: they're cheap enough where I DGAF if they fall apart, the style is good enough for most clubs, and they are reasonably comfy. That said, I'm currently looking for something better - I'll let you know if something comes to mind.

Other stuff: Undershirts are helpful to hide sweat, as is always the case.

A shirt, black jeans and some decent shoes.

It really depends on the club you're going to, though. You can get away with wearing a t-shirt as long as you're not wearing autism shoes like NBs.

agreed, collar shirts will make you sweat while clubbing.

Yes definitely collar shirt, something neutral not too bright. I also wear mdma. Obviously half of these people have never been into an actual club.
