What is the point in being /fa/?
Why do you have any interest in it?
This is a serious question coming from a fellow /fa/ggot, just interested why people wear stuff like lunar-core when even though it looks cool, its not conducive to getting taken seriously.

I need to channel my overflowing narcissism into actually making my external self match the internal image I've created.
I've always fluctuated with different styles, not just clothes but in everything. I'm just looking for the equilibrium. The point when I can say "yes I like things like this and it would be difficult to improve upon it for me."
Right now I'm really moving towards simple light colored pieces that can be easily incorporated into many different styles of outfit. However, I know in the future that will probably change too.

its a way of projecting your image out into the world and to other people. its fun. i don't take it as seriously as half the people on /fa/, though i do enjoy looking good and manufacturing my look into something i think is cool.

After handling higher end things vs mall tier items like zara i can objectively say theres exciting things going on with higher end stuff
Also i enjoy the hunt on auction sites
Reselling my unused shit has earned me a wee bit of extra cash
Also theres the self expression meme but considering how my style dynamically changed from say 2 years back it doesnt apply to me. I just enjoy things that look good and feel good, full stop
