This is by far one of the most toxic threads on /fa/. While I have nothing against tattoos, and have some myself, and so does a lot of people here apparently; /fa/ is without a doubt known for its negativity. Everytime I see this thread its literly the same few posting tattoos, and then like 50 posts, claiming everyone is shit, and then when people ask for advise or something everyone seems to shoot it down immediately.
Where I agree that there are some idiots here who have some TERRIBLE ideas for tattoos, its really not my place to say. And sure they did ask for advise or post the picture, so they should be man enough to accept the hate. But its just sickening. The point of tattoo culture is not to hate shame every fucking one that you dont agree with or you think looks like shit on one person or another.
Youd think tattooed society would stick together and not just create a giant thread full of hate, but instead thats all this is. For example, you go to any other tattoo forum, and theres barley EVER any negativity. People may disagree on ideas, or show their distaste but its not so fucking childish.

I don't agree with you completely. The design looks okay, but what this picture emphasizes really well is that a lot of tattoos work better if your skin is very pale or very dark.
Notice how the tattoo looks much worse in the colour picture, whilst the black and white picture shows the contrast between the skin and the tattoo really well. A similar effect causes tattoos to look better on very pale skin. Dark skin has the advantage of downplaying the starkness of a tattoo causing it to blend in more organically. Pink-ish skin does neither.
This especially holds true work really dark linework.
