I've always liked the casual look of straw hats for summer, does anybody here have experience or insight into what's socially acceptable/quality in the straw hat arena?
Am I just fooling myself because I've seen them in movies? Should they be avoided like fedoras?

Do you have any pictures? I like the look of the wide brim/farmer ones as well, but I can't seem to find any reputable manufacturer, lots of bad reviews of hats that fall apart. Maybe that just comes with the territory though, I don't know.
