Australia has shit all stores and i'm going to Shanghai for a bit so i'm wondering, what international/ China based stores do you think I should check out

don't bother mate, any high end designers are expensive as hell in China thanks to luxury taxes.
go for a wander around the old french concession and find some indie designers.
otherwise all you have are the same ol uniqlo type stores.
but do go check out IT, Joyce, BY and Blank.

As an aside, all the young Chinese that I've met either disregard fashion entirely, or are complete hypebeasts. One guy I know has at least 8 different pairs of Jordans, and only Jordans.
