What do you think of milsurp? Can get some functional garments like this Czech parka for real cheap, question is if it's effay.

We are talking about surplus friend
>>
Man, I've been wearing military surplus my entire life. And no, I'm not talking about muh camo, I'm talking about casual fleece shirts, parkas, coats, hell, even soviet surplus raincoats...

I've always been more comfortable wearing military stuff than commercial garment. I feel more comfortable wearing steel-tipped leather boots than a pair of loafers.

I feel military surplus for the more everyday man however can be a good investment, but to a certain extent. Like I said, fleece jackets, cargo pants, chinos, etc... all have their milsurp variants and, if sought for in the right places, can save you a lot of money and promise you comfort and quality.

no its not. gorkas only look good if you have kit on, without it you just look like a big green marshmallow.
>>

Yeah that's the thing, these coats and parkas especially run large and can be real tough to size online.

Sure surplus stores exist but can't say they'd carry foreign stuff like the OP.
>>
Hey any more fit pics with the Czech Parka?

A bit interested.

This is seriously heavy stuff. The arms are the most insane part.

They are built for military use. Of course they are durable especially more durable than any designer brands or anything you can get from H&M or the mall.

The problem with milsurp is usually baggy fits and lots of pockets which doesn't look good in some cases.

I think they can look pretty effay. It won't work with minimalist fits tho.

I think you have to be pretty manly or older to pull off a trench like pic related well. Other milsurp looks good but like I said >>10655148 most fits are baggy especially around the chest and or arms like >>10655035
Milsurp is the best bang for the buck by far. Its far more useful as durable warm protective clothing than a fashion statement.
Get milsurp if you need something to last or you really need a good winter coat to protect against the elements and don't care about the fashion side of things as much.
With that said, they can still certainly work in some fits.

Wear a small too . If you buy , plz make a thread about it and your fit in the future . Would really like an update .

I bought an Italian military surplus parka recently, it's warm, but super baggy. I'm considering completely reconstructing the whole damn thing, as it makes my arm look three or four times as fat.
