force yourself to:
-get friends (or at least attempt to you autist)
-pick up better hobby's and habits like working out or playing sports
-get a job if you don't have one (you really should, it's sad that I have to add this)
-stop playing games that require dedication and time, especially mmorpgs as well as mobas and shooters

Not him but just find a way to occupy your time doing something else. It's all about discipline, but don't give up on videogames completely, just limit yourself to set amounts if you want to lose interest in it you eventually will.

my problem is i have a very tight schedule, already got a job and better hobbies, i also have friends but not the time to meet them a lot anymore. i have very short time spans of free time when i get up and before i go to sleep, so i just play vidya a couple hours or something.

yes thats what im planning, 2 years ago i could easily play 5-7 hours a day, now i play 1-3 hours per day max, i hope i eventually lose interest from them.

when I hit 17 I just lost interest in them in one month, but at that time I got a job, made friends, started university, and started working out more, and I've only ever played smash bros at friend's houses ever since
my only advice would be find something else in those few hours at home, I'm trying to self teach japanese and easy music production when i'm not using my free time on /fa/ and other boards/forums
