How do I stop my sneakers from squeaking? I bought those white COS sneakers and I like them but they're just squeaking when i walk... Can anyone help?

Funny thing, my CPs squeaked so hard I returned them after two weeks of break-in. Some pairs squeaked others not. No idea why but I went with Diemme sneakers in the end. Cow leather is so soft they are pleasure to wear. And their sole fits like ass.

Perhaps I had to wear them more or try another pair. It was just that my previous sneakers died and I wanted some nice new ones quick. But am happy with Diemme too.

To actually answer OP, check where the squeaking is coming from. When I bought my adidas gazelles they squealed like a japanese pornstar as I walked. I found it came from the tongue. I threw on a membrane of vaseline and the squeaking stopped.
And before you ask, putting vaseline on it won't damage them. Doubt the COS sneakers are high quality leather so it probably won't do any more damage than what has already been done.

im afraid of wrinkling them up more to double check but if i think walk around in them without them tied then they basically dont squeak. maybe a little. now that i think about it if i put vaseline on the outside tongue where it connects with the inside of the top of the shoe, that should probably work?
put baby powder on the tounge of the shoe.

I don't understand how the shoes came to look like this. There is pretty minimal creasing around the toe area and yet the heal is beat af. Are these even common projects?
