Which suit color is better? My friend bought a black suit for prom and he is encouraging me to do the same because it is more manly and better looking, but I was considering more dark blue one (petrol blue/navy/however you call it) similar to the left one.
Which color is better to you?
(also I am dark-haired, tall, average looking white male)
Tuxedo

navy or charcoal
much more versatile and not as strict
you can use them as a buisness suit
second or third one should be grey
Black suits are for weddings and funerals only, at least after Highschool

Black suit is for a funeral niqqa. Personally I wouldn't worry about a suit, just wesr trousers with a button down shirt, maybe a tie if you want to. Wait until you stop growing and buy a decent suit and have it tailored properly

>Wearing a black suit to a wedding
Smh desu

Depends on the wedding desu
hey guys thought id post here rather than start a new thread. is ermenegildo zegna a good brand for suits?
>>10634754
Their mainline stuff is okay. It's better than shit-tier brands like Boss and better than budget brands like Lardini, Boglioli and SuitSupply.

thanks family, I just copped one of their suits in grey with a white pinstripe and wanted to know if i'd keked up or nah
>>10634763
how much money do you make delivering pizza? Boglioli is a budget brand for you?
This isn't OP but I have a related question. I already have a black suit, should I go for gray or navy next? I'm leaning a little towards navy but I've also heard gray is more professional. Someone please convince me either way.

id agree grey is professional but i think navy is more fun and a tad more modern. I wear navy in my job with brown brogues and it feels more individual than wearing grey. but it depends on your life senpai

It's personal preference.
Gray is a little more neutral than navy, which makes it more versatile.
Generally the gray suit is the first suit, navy is your second, and then the black is your third suit.

Well, to be honest, it does sound like you keked up, quite bad. Pin/chalk-stripes are very formal, and quite hard to pull off if you're young.

~13700€/month, currently studying for last exam.
Look, I don't take brands like H&M into equation when talking suits, because it's just not worth it. I consider budget brands (doesn't have to mean they're bad, I like the brands I mentioned above) to be between 300-600€, which is where those brands usually are.
My latest jacket was a navy cotton one from Boglioli...

while you are studying you get 13700 €/month? what job do you have?!
>>10634968
No job, I told you, I'm studying.
Used to work at a warehouse, though. Now just focusing on finally getting my degree and saving up money to buy my own flat.
