not really, both lenin and stalin took pride in their disinterest in ethnicity, the focus was on class and the people oppressed by the capitalistic system. The nazis' obvious, expressed hatred towards jews made jews seeking resistance and shelter in nazi-controleld regions join communistic movements since the two ideologies were main polar-opposites in the ww2.
Not saying communists necessarily loved jews, but in relation to other nation's views in the first half of 20th century the soviet union were very moderate in their anti-zionism. Lenin allied with the Jewish Bund in his years with the bolsheviks, in the Stalin-approved film "Battleship Potemkin" from like 1925 an antisemite gets beaten by a crowd of communistic revolutionaries.
The phenomenon of pro-palestine/anti-israel is more of a modern one, but with less relation to communism and more to the left movements and its anti-islamophobic elements, making israel's relation to palestine an easy example of oppression of muslims.
