I generally go with older Woolrich/ Pendleton knits, or APC/ SNS Herning/ Howling ones. Knitwear is one of those things where it's worth dropping a little extra dosh, and is also one of those things where it's better to see and try things on in person. The way a sweater fits you will have a lot of intangables that just don't get communicated in a sizechart.
