I'm slowly starting to fall more and more in love with the wyatt boot.

The way SLP does the harness finishes it perfectly off but I cant afford it at this moment.

Are there any look alikes to this boot or anything thats similar, i dont mind a goodlooking chelsea
>>
>>10617508

I'm also looking for nice black leather sidezips, preferably with a slim shaft.
>>
>>10617508

Try everydayhero.se and story et fall btw, but no harness
>>
Margiela size zips. Similar silhouette but without the heel.

Dont get the h&m shitty collab

very bad picture but these are Hugo Boss and look very good actually. I like that they are high and also pointy at the end (like ops pic)
I wear them with clothes like a Burberry trench coat or a Acne long coat looks very clean and you can use them to look classy or "fa" I guess depending on the other clothes you wear
>>
i really like the buckle on them, no similar one with the buckle?

Everydayhero look like woman boots

I can see that the hugo's have a slightly similar style going on
>>

story et fall looks nice but looks like really shitty quality: http://imgur.com/a/ZnjwT

They clearly arent as can be seen by the stitching on the sole. There are very few high fashion shoes that are cemented, usually its the ones with really think soles because theres no point in welting them since even if a cobbler could exchange the sole, he would have to exchange it with one that looks completely different. See something like pic related. Theres is literally no point in having this shoe be welted.
>>
>>10618536
>Theres is literally no point in having this shoe be welted
And why is that?
>>
>>10618663
Because by replacing the soul you would remove the interesting part of the shoe. Most high fashion shoes are crisp, casual derbies with chunky soles. By removing the sole, you remove the highlight of the shoe.

So even if the cobbler can take apart both sole and uppers, he doesnt have a sole to replace it with. So by the time you would want the sole replaced, you have no one who can actually replace it (unless you are fine with a generic 4mm dress shoe sole). So a shoe like this being welted would add literally no value to it. Because as soon as you make use of it being welted you might as well throw it on the trash.

Its different with Chelsea boots or Oxfords since those usually have generic soles that can easily be replaced.
>>
>>10618672
never replace the soul
>>
>>10617541
actually looks great!

>>
>>10618536
have you ever heard of a faux welt my mate. shitty asos shoes have that shit, and they sure aren't blake stitched/gyw.
>>
>>10617508
why is the heel so big?
i feel like i'll have to skip leg day if i wear this desu-- my buscles (big muscles) would just tear thru this tiny

These gotta be knockoffs. They'd never go /that/ cheap.
>>
>>10622170
well I know they're knockoffs, it clearly implies that by the wording in the item descriptions lol. Wonder how the quality is.
>>

Wondering about quality as well .

Why not just get something that isnt a replica like Story et Fall?
>>
>>10623658
because story et fall look like story et fall and not slp, I bet the quality on those is equal to the peurhomme ones.
>>
>>10623669
Probably, but then you're not a mimicker. I've always held the view that if you cant afford it you shouldn't have it
>>
>>10623673
I guess, but when it's nearly identical and a solution until I can get the actual product, I don't mind. Also I know people who own reps and real versions of products simply because they didn't feel like spending the money, lol.
>>
>>10623681
I totally understand, and I find myself considering it aswell

They do look very very close to 1:1, the toe is slightly off, the strap looks a bit bunched and the colour is different, but i'm fairly certain you could walk around without anybody seeing a difference, until they see the sole that is.
>>
>>10623673
Saint Laurent didn't invent harness boots though.
>>
>>10623689
Yes but these are quite obviously an SLP replica, people are buying it to look like they're wearing

Harness boots are probably a refinement of an engineer boot.
>>
>>10618536

guess what: you're wrong. that's what happens when you talk about a brand that you don't keep up with. SEF used to use cemented construction, which is what was used in the shoes you linked on imgur. See the "uploaded 10 months ago." SEF now uses a goodyear welt on everything except the cropped jods which use a blake welt.

I already own a pair of Harness boots in nut suede and need a pair of leather boots, I just don't know what to cop, Hedi 30s side zipped boots or the 30mm jodhpur, I feel like it'd be boring coping the same design again but I don't know, harness boots are so pretty.

Nah, I want something from our lord and savior Hedi Salami. The only problem I have with the harness boots from the latest seasons are the openings or whatever you call them, they're big, I've heard they're smaller in previous seasons, might cop a pair from FW13 or just go with the hedi 30 side zipped boots.
>>
>>10623688
the color difference probably wouldn't be noticeable if you beat the shit out of them lol
>>
>>10623793
Yeah the FW13 are the slim shaft ones, but they tend to be more sought after and therefore more expensive as thats what everyone wants.
