It's pretty much a high end designer ripping off of punk inspired styles. I used to think that it was pretty cool that Hedi was giving a nod to people like sid vicious or Jim Reid, but with all of this impressionable kids on this forum trying so hard to imitate this style without even knowing where all of this stuff comes from really started turning me off from this brand. I'll rather take hues from people who inspired this guy than trying to dress like the imitator himself.
It also shows the limited knowledge that this board has when it comes to fashion brands. Seriously guys, Male fashion is solely consisted of Raf Simmons Adidas shoes, Rick Owens, Kanye West, and Shia Labeouf. When will this board break out of this hivemind mentality.

I think most people understand the influence punk has in the clothing. Only people who know actually nothing about Hedi or punk think it's all original. There is more than just punk to slp though. Winter collections have sharp tailoring and are equal parts parisian and punk. Summer collections are largely inspired by punk/surf culture in California, again a bit french inspired.

buy cheaper shoes/boots, cheaper jeans, (there are ideas for cheaper alternataives all over this site and others) budget 500 for a vintage leather jacket, and thrift shirts/knits.
you had the right idea. don't look to duplicate the looks, because you'll just look like a sad poorboy. mixing different colors into the formula makes you unique. as you continue to develop taste/style, you'll be able to pick out rad patterns and colors without looking to fashion houses for a guide. you'll know if something looks good and is being slept on. and someday, hedi will take a picture of you for inspo. :^)
so anyway, yeah. don't try to copy slp exactly. you see the staples. you see where they're getting their ideas. it's a hard formula to fuck up really. be bold and plug in different shit to see what works. gemtones? fuckin why not.
