Now I personally don't believe we should send every newcomer to /r/. I believe every request thread is just a newcomer to /e/ that just needs a little push in the right direction. And that's what I'm doing here.
So, we already know your request goes in /r/. But why is it a request? Have a look at the rules again, there's a very specific cutoff-point between request threads and actual threads, 6. Which, let me assure you, is trivial. So all you need to make a real thread is a measly five more pictures.
Was that one the only one you had? First off try the catalog. Maybe we already have a thread that suits your needs. Like this one >>1802871 or this one >>1719990. If you can't find anything by lurking, try the boorus. Danbooru has 62,000 pictures of girls with Nekomimi. Go ahead and try the link http://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?utf8=%E2%9C%93&tags=nekomimi. Then post the ones you like back here (or in the other two catgirl threads).
Lastly, let me try to dispel the illusion I think most new posters get. You see a thread that says "Post catgirls" and then you see dozens of pictures of catgirls. It's natural to assume the OP posted the former and everyone else posted the latter. But more often than not that's just a misconception. /e/ is a place for people to share what they like, so most of those pictures actually came from the OP.
