Hey diy.Anyone ever use a local college for an adult non-credit class?Ive recently rebuilt my kitchen to make it cooking friendly and the missus and I are interested in making the best use of our new space. We want to take cooking classes. Not so much because we cant understand a kitchen or how it works but having weekly goals and some friendly competition would get us motivated to try new things and expand upon our meal preparing repetoire.Problem is,ive spent an hour searching through online class catalogs of a dozen universities in our area with no results.id assumed summer is the time for non credit classes.i see several courses aimed at,pardon my /pol/, imigrants but nothing with regard to college grads looking for a shortish study in an informal setting.I thought colleges loved these things for the cash grab.Question is,anyone have tips for finding hidden gems in this area?Pro tip: we have a few lib arts colleges around here.

I'm from PA too and I'm applying at HACC if you know what that is. It's pretty cheap, and they have a pretty good selection of programs to take

OP: Sometimes local tech colleges and/or school districts put on Community Education clinics. Check your city/county website or school district
