Was wondering if there was any way I can hang my Soviet flag horizontally without using tacs to puncture the flag or buy some fancy flag clip.

When hanging a flag vertically, you want to make sure that the upper left corner stays on the upper left side, so you just turn it around.
Unless you want to make a super subtle statement against the Soviet Union.

WRONG.
While that is a rule of thumb and true for the US flag, it isnt the case for the Soviet flag, unless it is one of the rare vertical designs.

one time, I went to the holocaust museum and they had the nazi flag in a cool little shrine. I decided I wanted one and started searching Nazi and CCCP memorabilia on ebay, along with high quality flags.
I never got around to buying stuff though.
