Just found out this site called Inventables, seemed like a dream come true for a casual maker. Woodworking materials for super reasonable prices and not bound by "9001 pieces minimum order" rules.
Alas, while African Mahogany for 10 bucks a piece is a really good offer, 40 dollars for shipping to Sweden is out of the question.
Do similar marketplaces exist inside EU? I live in a small shitty town and I'd rather order online.

get a sample and when buying get a contract that empowers you as a buyer to return anything thats not OK with your expectation, covered in the said contract. (ie being the same as the sample)
