I just moved in here and this is the bathroom light fixture. What is it, and what bulb/cover do I need?
>>993735
best guess is LED. not sure though
Google for '4 pin bathroom light fluorescent'

That looks like it, cheers. Now to somehow work out how where the previous owner got that light fixture from so I can get a new cover for it...
>>993735
It'll be cheaper and easier in the long run to replace the fixture. $25 will get you a decent looking one that takes standard bulbs. You can get a new fixture for $2, but it won't look nice.

Wait, is that the infamous indestructible model?

It's an ASD Apollo bathroom light

these things are shit and fail all the time, replace the whole damn thing with LED

>fail all the time
you throwing rocks at them?
replacement bulb expensive/pain to fit, color quality is not everyones taste, but, they fucking last forever otherwise, thats the (sole..) point of them.
But yeah, just replace with an easy twist globe unit - someones maybe got the /diy/ install guide screencapped.

for fuck's sake OP
>>994219
My cheap LED light (about $10 at home depot if I remember) failed in about a year. Didn't have a receipt, neither HD or manufacturer thought it was their problem to fix.

>has starter
some twisted fuck CFL bulb
>>993735
4pin 2D bulb, you can use a 2pin if you remove the ballast from the fitting.
>>993735
rip it out and install a couple of these.
