This stupid fucking thing doesn't suck up soap anymore should i actually try to fix it or get another one, or make something
>>
i was thinking maybe just putting a low pressure check valve at the bottom to stop the soap from getting pulled back into the bottle

>Make sure the hose isn't cracked and airtight
>Replace the adapter with a cork
>Check the pump for vacuum pressure by putting your finger over the tube and pumping
>>
the tube isn't cracked, it's just ill fitting, i'll just go and buy a 3/8" id tube and an oring and put it on the outside of the pump and hold it on with 4 zipties 2 above the oring and 2 below and maybe order a 3/8" check valve that i'll put a few stainless steel nuts on to keep it in the bottom of the soap jug

sounds like overkill but it should work.

Make sure the pump still generates vacuum though. Could be a problem with the o ring / valve in the pump.
>>
>>991221
no overkill would be buying a new one and making something like a soaptainer
>>
>>991223
Is that overfilled? when it tips back into the cupboard, it will overflow right?
>>
>>991223
Thats neat

>>991234
I'd assume there is a cap you put on when done filling
>>
>>991237
i was looking into getting one of them, there's a big air pocket above the fill port so when you tip it back into the cabinet, the liquid stays under the fill port
>>

>>991234
i should also mention they are $60 on amazon

you can make something that works the same for half that if you're moderately handy
>>
had no idea these even existed, interesting.

do you use them for dish soap, hand soap or lotion?
>>
>>991341
I assume you can use it for any of the three if i were to get one it would be for dish soap

But nothing is to stop you from getting 3 if your sink have three extra holes to use a dispenser for all 3
>>
>>991072
But can you use it for dabs, that is the question.
>>
I have something similar and the plunger's crapped out on mine. Temal, Soumin priima quality, made in China. No vittu hurraa.

Considered casting a new plunger from silicone but there's still some life in the wee bugger so can't be arsed.
