Not trying to be a jerk, you shoot a video clip and convert it to animated gif with whatever tool works on your system.

Crop/Shortern video, take down from what ever FPS it its at to 15 FPS or less.
Maximum 10 seconds. unless you've got a really good GPU and ram. you can do more without raping your system.
>render to AVI
>Open Photoshoop.
>import the AVI.
now go to the GIF window. I forget the techicle name. just google "GIF on photoshop."
>check everything
>make sure its right.
>Render to Web.
>make sure loop is on.
>save.

DONE.
