So, skying father wants a car
Eldest son has finally fucked off on a bike, i can now go back to 5 seaters.
So i'd like a reasonably sporty car, 4x4 is a must, would appreciate a diesel engine.
>any reason why i shouldn't get a Subaru?

Sorry for ignorance, i've ben out of the game for a while, but now that i'm ditching the SUV i have no escuses

Judging by your spelling and grammar you probably shouldn't be driving anything that may require a good level of coordination.

There is no car on the market that is 4x4
Here in the US, a diesel subaru isn;t an option, but it's been talked about for years. They are always a year or two away from getting the diesel forester here.
I've only had gas Subarus and love them. In teh North east, it's a really common car.
I wouldn;t want a forester, though. Too tall.

Weren't there some deisel 4wd Mercedes back in the day? Volvo comes to mind too. Would have to Google, but too much work for a wrong board question.

Expensive petrol and long distances to drive, hence diesel.

Audi makes some good diesel 'executive' sedans that are quite sporty.

I'm aware of this, but good luck finding a 4x4 diesel car in the US.
