Copper sulfate!
Make a saturated copper 2 sulfate solution and then place a copper wire halfway down the middle of your jar. Give it a week or two and you should see some crystal formation.

There are lots of other ways to do it too, I recommend chemwiki and most importantly: NEVER take chemistry advice from anyone on 4chan.
